Fitness and health

The glamour world  pays a lot of importance to being fit and healthy. The models really work out hard to look fit and slim. Loosing weight is not an easy task as it requires a lot of will power and determination to burn out calories.

Keeping in mind  today's lifestyle, we can easily add on calories within a split of a second. There are plenty of fast food joints, where people - young and old love to snack on junk food. Hence the calories get built up rapidly in our bodies. Obesity increases the risk of  diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, stroke, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and other forms of cancer.

Eating the right kind of food prevents us from adding those extra calories. Physical activity boosts our metabolism rate by burning out calories. Loosing weight is serious business and the transformation should be slow and gradual. Hastening the process could lead to serious side effects in health.

We are fortunate to have plenty of resources at our door step that we can make use of. The number of fitness gyms that have come up is innumerable. Taking one step at a time is the key. One can start with home remedies first.

By personal experience I've learnt that Green Tea is a good way to shed those extra calories. According researchers green tea cuts down fat rapidly as it removes all the antioxidants and it burns fat at a faster rate.
